The Ted Reese Memorial Scholarship committee is proud to announce the first recipients of the award. In the inaugural year of this annual scholarship, the committee has decided to award two deserving applicants with a $1000 scholarship. These deserving Bonny Eagle wrestlers embody the qualities of excellence on the mat, in the classroom, in leadership, and in character in keeping with the legacy of Coach Reese.
Cameron Frost is a three-time state place winner finishing as a state runner-up his senior year. Cam excels in the classroom as well and carries a 3.6 grade point average. Cam’s coaches describe him as a quiet leader. He would often go above and beyond regular team workouts in his pursuit of excellence. Cam also fostered caring relationships on his team as he could be seen coming alongside other wrestlers to quietly encourage or console them. His character earned him the distinction of captain of the team. We look forward to following Cam’s wrestling career as he continues his education at the University of Southern Maine.
